I think it is important that we get to know each other so that on the wedding day you feel comfortable. After all, I will become a member of the family for the day. Prior to the wedding, we go to a location of your choice and just have fun taking photos. This will give you an idea on how the photo experience will be on the wedding day. You can use these photos in your wedding album, in a signature frame, as an engagement photo, etc. They also become part of the image book.

Some of the places in Grand Rapids that are good places to take these photos are: Riverside Park, downtown around Rosa Park Circle and the river, the lagoons at Calvin College,the area around the Ford Museum, Blandford Nature Center, Canal Park on Monroe Street, or Tassell Park off Cascade Road. Of course there are nice places along the Lake Michigan shore or around your home.
