John's Newest Photo Venture: Laughing Squirrel Rustic Nature Photos
John of John R. Ziemann Photography started his professional photo career in Tucson, Arizona, specializing in wedding and event photography; portraits of actors, business people, children and families; and promotional photography for businesses. A native of northern Wisconsin, John has always had a passion for the out-of-doors and nature photography. After a recent move to Grand Rapids, Michigan, to be closer to family, he has been re-captivated by this area’s natural beauty. John is now ready to share the breathtaking natural images he has captured with others through Laughing Squirrel Rustic Nature Photos. Featured in his collection are large horizontal and vertical outdoor panoramas, perfect for decorating rustic Midwestern family rooms and vacation cabins. These and traditional-sized prints are available framed or unframed at reasonable prices; what better way to let the magnificence of the great outdoors beautify your indoor spaces!
Why Laughing Squirrel? Initially, I had wanted to call my new venture Barking Lizard Rustic Nature Photos. My wife, however, felt that name was a better fit for Arizona, than for Michigan. Inspired by the sassy squirrels that live in our yard here in Grand Rapids, she suggested we name the new branch of my business Laughing Squirrel. I love it!!

Photographic Services
While not photographing weddings any longer, John still enjoys photographing families, seniors, children, pets and events. Click on one of the topics on the left side to see samples of photos from his previous work.
Volunteer Services
To honor his granddaughter, who was born with a heart problem, John volunteers his photographic services to the American Heart Association in Grand Rapids. This has led his photographs being used for billboards promoting some of their events an for their Go Red for Women caledar. John has also photographed some of the local heart association's fund raising events.
